1.
p PLEASE DONT READ THIS BLOG unless you like to read random stuff that dont have anything to do with being a good person, or be succcessful or be rich and so on.
That awakening is not liner but we can assist
its flowering like a gardener.
2.
That sadhana has to be done with a lose fist so
that sadhana can change as the being transforms.
3.
Stage 1 of sadhana is usually high energy
passion but in Kalyug/scientific logic base world, mainly for acquiring
knowledge for the intellect. It is what
Gurdjieff would call the Moving Part of the Intellectual centre – repetition of
words, a certain sort of imagination (about others, their teacher/s and
esoteric world) and cunningness used in sadhana (as the ‘sly man’ of G)
4.
At some point (god only f** knows) when their
Moving Part is now saturated with knowledge yet there is still a sense of
emptiness, an absence of a certain grounding at the level of the being. This
leads to a practical application of the knowledge in daily life. Some gets
events in their lives that forces them to apply it in the knowledge in their
lives.
5.
When this kicks in, it allows an understanding
that is truer than the knowledge with an understanding that seeps into the body
and heart – because now a present moment participates that is beyond time where
knowledge resides.
6.
In the search Octave we are at Ma(Mi)
7.
This activity seems to increase the saturation
and crystallisation of Hydrogen 24 – hydrogen to point towards prana, a unit of
consciousness and not the Hydrogen of chemistry. It increases the vibration
(and hence consciousness). The intellect continues to own the ‘view’ but now the
Prana 24 starts feeding the Emotional Part of the Intellectual centre – but driven
now by the insights that come with the practical application. This is the First
Crossing – the Mi-Fa Interval.
8.
These insights also come from the intellect but
because of the emotional quality the insight has a scale beyond knowledge, akin to the difference
between understanding sugar in a theoretical manner and actually tasting sugar,
bringing a scale to the initial theoretical understanding. Gurdjieff also calls
it the Higher Intellectual centre for help – but both lower and higher cannot exist
simulataneously so the intellect operates as a toggle between its higher capacity
and its mechanical capacity as may be lawfully required (the law being such an
amazing mystery). However we can offer a lawful denying to the mechanical
keeping a creative tension between opposing forces, the toggle could switch to the higher capacity state of the Intellect, when
the conditions are sacred and in service of the universe or a dancer-lover in the
Cosmic lovemaking.
9.
In a way the Intellect is now no longer a wooden
Pinochio most of the now and cannot return to it easily unless the forces that
wish for our (for now) evolution require
the material of the wooden Pinochio for its work. So machines are not useless,
they should assist our growing and not run our lives.
10. As
the understanding grows the seeker is a Trishanku – between life as a
programmed/programmable automaton and being an ‘awake real boy’ Pinocchio.
11. This is Pa(Fa) the point of Choice. Here the ‘smells’/Sa(Do)
of future octaves seduce us with possibilities.
12. Because
of choice, this place is also perilous. One of these is “Spiritual bypassing” –
where the seeker imagines that they are awake by adopting the language,
tone, or mannerisms of an enlightened persons, teachers and mask insecurities, avoid
authentic vulnerability. Often called "spiritual narcissism" (Believing
in one’s own spiritual superiority as a way to hide from insecurities or being open
and vulnerable without denial of lawful life forces, and not allowing conscious
expressions of emotions like anger, envy etc )
13. Among
the other perils is "spiritual
materialism” (where spirituality is offered for a commercial exchange and not
driven by spontaneity of the now.)
14. It
is important to know that none of these are ‘bad’. It happens because during
the process of arriving here these energies (where ego also partakes of the
spirit material like Rahu, Ketu and Bali who stole the nectar from Dhanvantari
as he emerged).
15. Gurdjieff
calls these folks as Hasnamuss – an
individual of very high being whose ego took delivery of all the spiritual work
of the individual, preventing them flow aligned to the Will of the Cosmos (Love under Will) and who uses it
for selfish, destructive purposes. It is like a Pincochio who becomes a Frankenstein
instead of a “real boy”
16. Another
example is Ravana who was Ram’s own Hasnamuss and stole away his soul (Sita)
and whom he had to kill with a lot of hardwork. Enroute to that journey he had
to kill Bali (the part in him that tasted the nectar during the Samudra manthan)
in stealth. That was the only act of inexactitude that Ram did – an interesting
insight of spiritual work where regular moral framework is broken to fulfil a
larger order of the cosmos. This was explained very nicely by Krishna in the
Second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita – something so profound and subtle so early
in the book. But once he killed his Bali he suddenly had a powerful Hanuman
besides the entire motley crew of the vanara sena. Each stage of Ramayana is
really a guide to exorcise the Hasnamuss from within – like Ram had become till
the eve of his coronation. His soul was Hasnamuss with a lot of intellectual
centre through his teachers like Vasishta and yet his physical dimension/moving
centre (Sita) was still attached to the senses through an egoic connection.
This father symbolically was the
source – Dashrath – the man who had all the 10 richness of the chariots of existence but without
the reins in his hand. The chariots of 5 outer and 5 inner senses. Thought--loop
mind, Intellect - decision-making, judgment etc, the sense of
"I-ness", the field of memory and sub-conscious mind, Vital Force
that powers the entire system.
This was the Sita that was attracted to ‘golden deers’ representing the
power of the material allure over his spiritual
knowledge.
And that part is thus usurped by
his Hasnamus part - Ravana. Ram on one hand had to be a pure ‘host’ for hosting
Sita back. And Sita had to start her purity process in seclusion and fighting
to pass the tests of all the attractions offered by the Ram-Hasnamus, Ravan so
when Ram’s being for ready, Sita, the particle of divinity can rest in Ram’s pure being, after Ravana was
killed and then as the devi amplifying Ram’s work as Purshottam.
17. A
teacher or guide here will simply advise the seeker to ‘allow’ and watch. This
is the very opposite of the shift from the earlier stage where the Sadhana was ‘non-expression’
of negative emotions.
18. A
man needed to cross a dangerous, fast-flowing river to go to see a magnificent Lighthouse
about which he had heard about. He gathers sticks, branches, and grass to build
a raft. He works hard and safely reaches the further shore. Thinking that the
raft saved him, he considers carrying the heavy, cumbersome raft on his back
for the rest of his journey. Its heavy it slows him down – but he cant let go because
he has seen with his own eyes that the raft got him across the river. Not
knowing that the raft was a tool to get there. One must let go of the very
methods that brought them to that point or they become barriers to the very
Light
19. Then
the question is how does one ‘know’ when one is awake?
20. When
one can see the moon for oneself with one’s own eyes. This is possibly why for
example, in Islam Eid is celebrated not on the day as per calendar but when one
can clearly see the day1 crescent moon however faint. It prevents self deception.
21. Awakening
is not a liner step by step process. As we reach the note Ni(Si) of the second Octave of the search, there is an
active wait, a longing for the lover to appear. The emotional centre is now full of love with
the unknown – the symbolism in Islam of parda nashin ka ashiq. Its will is now
so strong that it can now lay down all weapons for the love to take the dagger
and pierce it so Light can enter it. It is only the Lover who can now do it
since all weapons have been laid down. Chand Raat of Ramzan Eid. This
validation is also the validation where Ram wants to check if Sita has any more
elements of the Hasnamuss that he killed.
22. This critical validation, is Rama’s insistence of the Agni pariksha of Sita – fire being symbolic of Ram’s own sensing of his being through his “Physical body” and checking if any of the allures of material still has any impact on him or not. He thus not only freed himself but all that he inherited from his father, thereby freeing his father too, and possibly his immediate 6 ancestors before his father (Aja, Raghu, Dilipa, Bhagiratha, Sagara, and Harishchandra) whose own spiritual work shaped his own awakening).. And so Diwali and Chand Raat are similar – one on a no moon based on a locked calendar, another on the first day of the moon, on a locked calendar but giving allowance for the divine to play with the calendar through a moon sighting.
